MIC Deposit Analysis Kits/ICP Analysis (NFPA 25)

ICP

Huguenot Labs Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) deposit analysis testing is used to determine the elemental components of a deposit.  This ICP-MS test is a very powerful tool for trace Part’s Per Billion- Parts Per Million (ppb-ppm) and ultra-trace (ppm-ppb) elemental analysis.  The Pipe analysis and ICP-MS test does not determine if the pipe was manufactured to ASTM requirements.  It does however give you a detailed breakdown of the material being removed from the walls of the pipe due to corrosion and/or MIC.  Included in this test is “Stereomicroscopic” photos giving a visual view of the deposit analysis.
