Huguenot Laboratories has the ability to internally inspect your fire sprinkler system with the use of a borescope and an ultrasonic thickness gage. The borescope gives the ability to document the condition of your fire sprinkler system on a DVD recording system to reveal the condition of your pipes. The Ultrasonic Thickness Gage system measures the thickness of pipe walls to identify how much pipe has been lost due to corrosion inside the fire sprinkler system. With the use of these two instruments, we can accurately document the condition of your fire sprinkler system. If tubercles and corrosion debris are restricting water flow, we can mechanically eliminate the corrosion and debris by mechanically honing the piping system. After the fire sprinkler system is cleaned, we will chemically treat your system with inhibitors and biostatic antimicrobial products to provide long term protection from corrosion and MIC (Microbiological Induced Corrosion).
